13         Amendment to Amendment (283009) 

14         On page 1, lines 27 through 31,

15  remove from the amendment:  all of said lines,

17  and insert in lieu thereof:  for filing a false report as

18  defined in s. 39.01(27).  During the pendency of the

19  investigation by the local law enforcement agency, the local

20  law enforcement agency must respond to all subsequent reports

21  concerning children in that same family in accordance with s.

22  39.301.  If the law enforcement agency believes that there are

23  indicators of abuse or neglect, it must immediately notify the

24  department, which must assure the safety of the children.  If
