13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 18, lines 27-28,

15  remove from the bill:

17  insert:  Subsection (3) of section 199.292, Florida Statutes,

18  is amended to read:

19         199.292  Disposition of intangible personal property

20  taxes.--All intangible personal property taxes collected

21  pursuant to this chapter shall be placed in a special fund

22  designated as the "Intangible Tax Trust Fund." The fund shall

23  be disbursed as follows:

24         (3)  An amount equal to 42.1 33.5 percent of the

25  remaining intangible personal property taxes collected shall

26  be transferred to the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for Counties.

27  An amount equal to 57.9 66.5 percent of the remaining taxes

28  collected shall be transferred to the General Revenue Fund of

29  the state. Notwithstanding this subsection, the fund shall be

30  disbursed as follows:

31         (a)  For the period July 1, 1998, through June 30,

 1  1999, an amount equal to 36.1 percent of the remaining

 2  intangible personal property taxes collected shall be

 3  transferred to the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for Counties and

 4  an amount equal to 63.9 percent of the remaining taxes

 5  collected shall be transferred to the General Fund of the

 6  state.

 7         (b)  For the period July 1, 1999, through June 30,

 8  2000, an amount equal to 40.6 percent of the remaining

 9  intangible personal property taxes collected shall be

10  transferred to the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for Counties and

11  an amount equal to 59.5 percent of the remaining taxes

12  collected shall be transferred to the General Fund of the

13  state.
