  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Collier County; providing

  3         for a three-member district board for the Big

  4         Corkscrew Island Fire Control and Rescue

  5         District, an independent special fire control

  6         district and a political subdivision of the

  7         State of Florida; providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  The Big Corkscrew Island Fire Control and

12  Rescue District, an independent special fire control district

13  and a political subdivision of the State of Florida, shall

14  continue to be governed by a three-member district board of

15  fire commissioners, which board shall be elected, shall have

16  the powers and authorities, and shall be subject to

17  requirements and restrictions as are or shall be provided by

18  general law or special act.

19         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

20  law.
