11 The Committee on General Government Appropriations offered the

14 Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 1,lines 19 through 30,
16 remove from the bill: all of said lines

18 and insert in lieu thereof: certificateholder or registrant
19 shall not exceed, in the aggregate, $100,000 annually.
20 Beginning in the 1998 calendar year, any claims approved by
21 the board in excess of the annual cap are eligible for payment
22 in the next and succeeding fiscal years, in the same manner as
23 other claims.
