  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to aging and adult services;

  3         repealing s. 410.0245, F.S., relating to a

  4         study of service needs for disabled adults and

  5         development of a multiyear plan; repealing s.

  6         410.502, F.S., relating to services concerning

  7         housing and living arrangements which meet the

  8         special needs of the elderly; repealing s.

  9         410.504, F.S., relating to multidisciplinary

10         centers on elderly living environments;

11         providing an effective date.

13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

15         Section 1.  Sections 410.0245, 410.502, and 410.504,

16  Florida Statutes, are repealed.

17         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

18  law.

21                          HOUSE SUMMARY

      Repeals provisions which require the Department of
23    Children and Family Services to contract for a study of
      service needs for disabled adults and develop a multiyear
24    plan to provide such services. Repeals provisions which
      require the department to provide services related to
25    housing and living arrangements meeting the special needs
      of the elderly. Repeals provisions which require the
26    Board of Regents to establish multidisciplinary centers
      on elderly living environments at state universities.
