11  The Committee on General Government Appropriations offered the

12  following:

14         Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 62, between lines 4 and 5,

16

17  insert:

18         Section 50.  Section 110.1082, Florida Statutes, is

19  created to read:

20         110.1082  Telephone voice mail systems and telephone

21  menu options systems.--

22         (1)  No state employee shall utilize a voice mail

23  system when the employee is at his or her regularly assigned

24  work station where his or her telephone is functional and

25  available for use, unless such voice mail system alerts the

26  caller to, and provides the caller with access to a

27  nonelectronic attendant, or automatically transfers the caller

28  to a nonelectronic attendant.

29         (2)  Telephone menu options systems used by state

30  agencies, departments, or other state government units, will

31  alert the caller to, and provide the caller with access to a
