  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to judicial nominating

  3         commissions; amending s. 43.29, F.S.; providing

  4         for a judicial nominating commission to include

  5         at least one resident from each county within

  6         the judicial circuit; providing an effective

  7         date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  Subsection (4) is added to section 43.29,

12  Florida Statutes, to read:

13         43.29  Judicial nominating commissions.--

14         (4)  Each judicial nominating commission must include

15  at least one resident from each county within the judicial

16  circuit.

17         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1998.
