15         On page 5, lines 7-12, delete those lines

17  and insert:

18         (4)  In computing grade point averages, school

19  districts and community colleges must weigh college-level dual

20  enrollment courses the same as honors courses and advanced

21  placement courses when the high school subject and the common

22  course numbered course are of equal academic value. Students

23  may dually enroll in advanced placement courses. Alternative

24  grade calculation or weighting systems that discriminate

25  against dual enrollment courses may be prohibited.
