  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to state property; directing

  3         the Board of Trustees of the Internal

  4         Improvement Trust Fund to transfer certain

  5         described property from the state to Palm Beach

  6         County; providing an effective date.

  7

  8         WHEREAS, the air quality and building conditions in the

  9  existing offices of the West Palm Beach regional office of the

10  Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission are dangerous to

11  employees and the public, and

12         WHEREAS, several buildings on the aforementioned

13  property have been condemned, and

14         WHEREAS, the cost of removing and replacing buildings

15  at this site is beyond the means of the state, and

16         WHEREAS, the property upon which such buildings are

17  located was conveyed to the state by Palm Beach County, NOW,

18  THEREFORE,

20  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

21

22         Section 1.  Pursuant to chapter 253, Florida Statutes,

23  the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund

24  shall transfer ownership and title to the property located at

25  551 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida, to Palm

26  Beach County, a political subdivision of this state, at no

27  cost Palm Beach County, such property being the following

28  particularly described parcel and tract of land situated in

29  Palm Beach County:

  1         The South 60 feet of the North 340 feet of the

  2         West 213 feet of the East 266 feet of the SE

  3         1/4 of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 36, Township

  4         43 South, Range 42 East.

  5         Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1 of the

  6  year in which enacted.
