18         (6)  Notwithstanding the provisions of s.

19  550.0951(3)(c), the tax on handle is 0.2 percent for

20  intertrack wagering and for intertrack wagering on

21  rebroadcasts of simulcast horseraces for a thoroughbred

22  permitholder that conducts performances during the period

23  beginning March 17 and ending May 22.  This subsection applies

24  only to thoroughbred permitholders located in any area of the

25  state where there are three or more thoroughbred permitholders

26  within 25 miles of each other.  The tax shall be deposited

27  into the General Revenue Fund.  Effective July 1, 2001, this

28  subsection is repealed.
