15         On page 106, between lines 9 and 10,

17  and insert:

18         Section 59.  Effective January 1, 2001, paragraph (f)

19  is added to subsection (8) of section 553.73, Florida

20  Statutes, as amended by CS for CS for HB 4181, 1998 Regular

21  Session, to read:

22         553.73  Florida Building Code.--

23         (8)  The following buildings, structures, and

24  facilities may be exempted from the Florida Building Code as

25  provided by law and any further exemptions shall be as

26  determined by the Legislature and provided by law:

27         (f)  Those structures or facilities of electric

28  utilities, as defined in s. 366.02, which are directly

29  involved in the generation, transmission, or distribution of

30  electricity.
