14         On page 90, lines 3 - 30

15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

17  and insert in lieu thereof:

18         Section 23.  In the event of a conflict between the

19  provisions of this act and the provisions of any other act,

20  the provisions of this act shall control to the extent of such

21  conflict.

22         Section 24.  It is intended that the provisions of this

23  act shall be liberally construed for accomplishing the work

24  authorized and provided for or intended to be provided for by

25  this act, and where strict construction would result in the

26  defeat of the accomplishment of any part of the work

27  authorized by this act, and a liberal construction would

28  permit or assist in the accomplishment of any part of the work

29  authorized by this act, the liberal construction shall be

30  chosen.

31         Section 25.  Nothing in this act shall change existing

 2  Chapters 253, 369, 373, and 403, Florida Statutes, shall

 3  apply.

 4         Section 3.  Except as specifically reenacted herein,

 5  chapter 6458, Laws of Florida 1913; chapter 26558 No. 79, Laws

 6  of Florida 1951; chapter 28405, Laws of Florida 1953; chapter

 7  57-574, Laws of Florida; chapter 59-629, Laws of Florida;

 8  chapter 61-1747, Laws of Florida; chapter 63-616, Laws of

 9  Florida; chapter 63-618, Laws of Florida; chapter 65-2065,

10  Laws of Florida; chapter 67-867, Laws of Florida; chapter

11  71-830, Laws of Florida; chapter 75-472, Laws of Florida;

12  chapter 81-460, Laws of Florida; chapter 82-353, Laws of

13  Florida; chapter 83-493, Laws of Florida; chapter 84-496, Laws

14  of Florida; chapter 87-521, Laws of Florida; chapter 90-480,

15  Laws of Florida; and chapter 96-478, Laws of Florida, are

16  repealed.

17         Section 4.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

18  law.
