19         (a)  The number of existing public schools which may

20  convert to charter schools is unlimited. The number of newly

21  created charter schools is limited to no more than 14 in each

22  school district that has 100,000 or more students, no more

23  than 10 in each school district that has 50,000 to 99,999

24  students, and no more than 6 in each school district with

25  fewer than 50,000 students. limited to no more than seven in

26  each school
