13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 1, lines 18-29, delete those lines
15
16 and insert: State Constitution, at the general election in
17 1998, there shall be a special election on September 1, 1998,
18 at which there shall be submitted to the electors of Florida
19 for approval or rejection House Joint Resolution No. 4553
20 proposing the creation of Section 19 of Article VII of the
21 State Constitution, which authorizes the issuance of state
22 bonds to finance or refinance state conservation, recreation,
23 and restoration programs and postsecondary education
24 infrastructure.
25 Section 2. Publication of notice shall be in
26 accordance with Section 5 of Article XI of the State
27 Constitution. The special election shall be held as other
28 special elections are held.
