  2         An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the

  3         Florida Agricultural Exposition Trust Fund

  4         within the Department of Corrections without

  5         modification; carrying forward current balances

  6         and continuing current sources and uses

  7         thereof; providing an effective date.

  8

  9         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

10  the Florida Agricultural Exposition Trust Fund within the

11  Department of Corrections, which is otherwise scheduled to be

12  terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and

13         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Florida

14  Agricultural Exposition Trust Fund within the Department of

15  Corrections before its scheduled termination date and has

16  found that it continues to meet an important public purpose,

17  and

18         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

19  policy concerning the Florida Agricultural Exposition Trust

20  Fund within the Department of Corrections sets adequate

21  parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

22

23  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

24

25         Section 1.  The Florida Agricultural Exposition Trust

26  Fund within the Department of Corrections, SAMAS number

27  702298, which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f),

28  Article III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is

29  re-created.

30         Section 2.  All current balances of the Florida

31  Agricultural Exposition Trust Fund within the Department of

  1  Corrections are carried forward, and all current sources and

  2  uses of the trust fund are continued.

  3         Section 3.  This act shall take effect November 4,

  4  2000.
