13         Amendment to Amendment 00458-0087-270709 (with title

14  amendment) 

15         On page 33, between line(s) 16 & 17,

17  insert:

18         Section 18.  Section 230.23015, Florida Statutes, 1996

19  Supplement, is amended to read:

20         230.23015  Students violating s. 784.081; expulsion and

21  placement in alternative school setting.--Notwithstanding any

22  other provision of law, each district school board shall adopt

23  rules providing that any student found to have committed a

24  violation of s. 784.081 shall be expelled and placed in an

25  alternative school setting for a minimum period of 1 year.

26  Upon being charged with the offense, the student shall be

27  removed from the classroom immediately and placed in an

28  alternative school setting pending disposition.
