11  Senator Sullivan moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 1, lines 24-31, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         Section 1.  The Child Support Trust Fund within Justice

18  Administration, which is to be terminated pursuant to Section

19  19(f), Article III of the State Constitution on November 4,

20  2000, is re-created.

21         Section 2.  All current balances of the Child Support

22  Trust Fund within Justice Administration are carried forward,

23  and all current sources and uses of the trust fund are

24  continued.

 1         Child Support Trust Fund within Justice

 2         Administration without modification; carrying

 3         forward current balances and continuing current

 4         sources and uses thereof; providing an

 5         effective date.

 6

 7         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

 8  the Child Support Trust Fund within Justice Administration,

 9  which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant to

10  constitutional mandate, and

11         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Child Support

12  Trust Fund within Justice Administration before its scheduled

13  termination date and has found that it continues to meet an

14  important public purpose, and

15         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

16  policy concerning the Child Support Trust Fund within Justice

17  Administration sets adequate parameters for its use, NOW,

18  THEREFORE,
