2 An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
3 Child Support Trust Fund within Justice
4 Administration without modification; carrying
5 forward current balances and continuing current
6 sources and uses thereof; providing an
7 effective date.

9 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
10 the Child Support Trust Fund within Justice Administration,
11 which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant to
12 constitutional mandate, and
13 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Child Support
14 Trust Fund within Justice Administration before its scheduled
15 termination date and has found that it continues to meet an
16 important public purpose, and
17 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
18 policy concerning the Child Support Trust Fund within Justice
19 Administration sets adequate parameters for its use, NOW,
20 THEREFORE,

22 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

24 Section 1. The Child Support Trust Fund within Justice
25 Administration, which is to be terminated pursuant to Section
26 19(f), Article III of the State Constitution on November 4,
27 2000, is re-created.
28 Section 2. All current balances of the Child Support
29 Trust Fund within Justice Administration are carried forward,
30 and all current sources and uses of the trust fund are
31 continued.
