1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
3 State Attorney's Forfeiture and Investigative
4 Support Trust Fund within Justice
5 Administration without modification; carrying
6 forward current balances and continuing current
7 sources and uses thereof; providing an
8 effective date.

10 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
11 the State Attorney's Forfeiture and Investigative Support
12 Trust Fund within Justice Administration, which is otherwise
13 scheduled to be terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate,
14 and
15 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the State
16 Attorney's Forfeiture and Investigative Support Trust Fund
17 within Justice Administration before its scheduled termination
18 date and has found that it continues to meet an important
19 public purpose, and
20 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
21 policy concerning the State Attorney's Forfeiture and
22 Investigative Support Trust Fund within Justice Administration
23 sets adequate parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,
24
25 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

27 Section 1. The State Attorney's Forfeiture and
28 Investigative Support Trust Fund within Justice
29 Administration, which is to be terminated pursuant to Section
30 19(f), Article III of the State Constitution on November 4,
31 2000, is re-created.

1 Section 2. All current balances of the State
2 Attorney's Forfeiture and Investigative Support Trust Fund
3 within Justice Administration are carried forward, and all
4 current sources and uses of the trust fund are continued.
5 Section 3. This act shall take effect November 4,
6 2000.
