  2         An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the

  3         Juvenile Justice Training Trust Fund within the

  4         Department of Juvenile Justice without

  5         modification; carrying forward current balances

  6         and continuing current sources and uses

  7         thereof; providing an effective date.

  8

  9         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

10  the Juvenile Justice Training Trust Fund within the Department

11  of Juvenile Justice, which is otherwise scheduled to be

12  terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and

13         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Juvenile

14  Justice Training Trust Fund within the Department of Juvenile

15  Justice before its scheduled termination date and has found

16  that it continues to meet an important public purpose, and

17         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

18  policy concerning the Juvenile Justice Training Trust Fund

19  within the Department of Juvenile Justice sets adequate

20  parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

22  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

23

24         Section 1.  The Juvenile Justice Training Trust Fund

25  within the Department of Juvenile Justice, SAMAS number

26  802417, which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f),

27  Article III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is

28  re-created.

29         Section 2.  All current balances of the Juvenile

30  Justice Training Trust Fund within the Department of Juvenile

  1  Justice are carried forward, and all current sources and uses

  2  of the trust fund are continued.

  3         Section 3.  This act shall take effect November 4,

  4  2000.
