  2         An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the

  3         Legal Affairs Revolving Trust Fund within the

  4         Department of Legal Affairs without

  5         modification; carrying forward current balances

  6         and continuing current sources and uses

  7         thereof; providing an effective date.

  8

  9         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

10  the Legal Affairs Revolving Trust Fund within the Department

11  of Legal Affairs, which is otherwise scheduled to be

12  terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and

13         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Legal Affairs

14  Revolving Trust Fund within the Department of Legal Affairs

15  before its scheduled termination date and has found that it

16  continues to meet an important public purpose, and

17         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

18  policy concerning the Legal Affairs Revolving Trust Fund

19  within the Department of Legal Affairs sets adequate

20  parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

21

22  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

23

24         Section 1.  The Legal Affairs Revolving Trust Fund

25  within the Department of Legal Affairs, SAMAS number 412439,

26  which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article

27  III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is

28  re-created.

29         Section 2.  All current balances of the Legal Affairs

30  Revolving Trust Fund within the Department of Legal Affairs

  1  are carried forward, and all current sources and uses of the

  2  trust fund are continued.

  3         Section 3.  This act shall take effect November 4,

  4  2000.
