11  The Committee on Ways and Means recommended the following

12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 3, lines 16 and 17, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:

18         Section 2.  In recognition of the fact that the Game

19  and Fresh Water Fish Commission can no longer use its property

20  at 551 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach, the commission is

21  directed to transfer its ownership interest in the land and

22  facilities at this site to the County of Palm Beach. Such

23  transfer of ownership is contingent upon the commission's

24  determination that such transfer will not result in

25  ineligibility for future federal funds from the United States

26  Department of Interior since federal funds had been used to

27  construct facilities at this location. This section shall take

28  effect October 1, 1998.

29         Section 3.  Except as otherwise expressly provided in

30  this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 1998.
