15 On page 32, lines 21 through 25, delete those lines

17 and insert:
18 Section 36. Subsection (2) of section 337.27, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 337.27 Exercise of power of eminent domain by
21 department; procedure; title; cost.--
22 (2) In the acquisition of lands and property for the
23 purpose of intermodal or multimodal terminals and centers and
24 all connecting rail, air, and surface modes of transit,
25 including, but not limited to, supporting access roads,
26 parking lots, and related structures, the department may
27 acquire an entire lot, block, or tract of land if, by doing
28 so, the acquisition costs to the department will be equal to
29 or less than the cost of acquiring a portion of the property.
30 This subsection shall be construed as a specific recognition
31 by the Legislature that this means of limiting the rising

1 costs to the state of property acquisition is a public purpose
2 and that, without this limitation, the viability of many
3 public projects will be threatened.
4 Section 37. Subsection (2) of section 348.0008,
5 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
6 348.0008 Acquisition of lands and property.--
7 (2) In the acquisition of land and property for the
8 purpose of intermodal or multimodal terminals and centers and
9 all connecting rail, air, and surface modes of transit,
10 including, but not limited to, supporting access roads,
11 parking lots, and related structures, an authority may acquire
12 an entire lot, block, or tract of land if, by so doing, the
13 acquisition costs to the authority will be equal to or less
14 than the cost of acquiring a portion of the property. This
15 subsection is a specific recognition by the Legislature that
16 this means of limiting the rising costs of such property
17 acquisition is a public purpose and that, without this
18 limitation, the viability of many public projects will be
19 threatened.
20 Section 38. Subsection (2) of section 348.759, Florida
21 Statutes, is amended to read:

23 (2) In the acquisition of land and property for the

26 including, but not limited to, supporting access roads,
