  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to telecommuting; repealing s.

  3         3 of ch. 94-113, Laws of Florida; abrogating

  4         the repeal of s. 110.171, F.S., which

  5         establishes the state employee telecommuting

  6         program; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Section 3 of chapter 94-113, Laws of

11  Florida, is repealed.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1, 1998.

15                          SENATE SUMMARY

16    Reenacts s. 110.171, F.S., which requires the Department
      of Management Services to establish and administer the
17    state employee telecommuting program.
