11  Senator McKay moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         Delete everything after the enacting clause

16  and insert:

17         Section 1.  The sum of $500,000 is appropriated from

18  the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Environmental

19  Protection for the 1998-1999 fiscal year for the purpose of

20  red tide research.

21         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1998.
