11  Senator Klein moved the following amendment:

14         On page 10, line 28, through

15            page 11, line 14, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:

18         (2)  If the court or jury determines that the person is

19  a sexually violent predator, the person shall be committed to

20  the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services

21  for control, care, and treatment until such time as the

22  person's mental abnormality or personality disorder has so

23  changed that it is safe for the person to be at large. Such

24  control, care, and treatment shall be provided at a facility

25  operated by the Department of Children and Family Services. At

26  all times, sexually violent predators who are committed for

27  control, care, and treatment by the Department of Children and

28  Family Services under this section shall be kept in a secure

29  facility segregated from patients who are not committed under

30  this section.
