11  Senator Klein moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 7, lines 12-21, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:  the provisions of ss. 916.30-916.49. However, the

17  state attorney has no lawful authority to file a petition with

18  the circuit court alleging that a person is a sexually violent

19  predator without a written assessment and recommendation from

20  the multidisciplinary team.

21         (3)  The Secretary of Children and Family Services

22  shall establish a multidisciplinary team, which shall include

23  a person knowledgeable in the field of law enforcement

24  designated by the Attorney General, a licensed psychologist, a

25  licensed psychiatrist, a person designated by the Department

26  of Corrections who is knowledgeable in the treatment of sexual

27  offenders, and a mental health counselor licensed under

28  chapter 491, to review available records of each person

29  referred to such team under subsection (1). The team, within

30  45 days after receiving notice, shall assess whether the

31  person meets the definition of a sexually violent predator and
