13         Senate Amendment (with Title Amendment) 

14         On page 2, between lines 2 and 3,

16  insert:

17         (9)  A noncontracted hospital-based provider shall be

18  reimbursed by a health maintenance organization for covered

19  services provided to its subscribers, other than emergency

20  services covered by s. 641.513, in accordance with s.

21  641.513(5)(a) or (b), whichever is less, absent payment of a

22  mutually agreed sum by the health maintenance organization.

23  Payment shall be made to the provider within 30 days after the

24  submittal of the claim.
