11  Senator Campbell moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 24, line 21, after the period,

15

16  insert:  A rental company to which this subsection applies

17  shall not sell or offer to sell to any renter or authorized

18  driver any collision damage waiver, supplemental liability

19  insurance, personal accident insurance, personal effects

20  insurance, or similar arrangement, contractual provision,

21  product, or service that, for a charge, covers liability

22  claims incurred against a rental vehicle during the term of

23  the rental agreement, and all of which such methods of

24  coverage are hereby deemed to be insurance pursuant to s.

25  624.02, unless the rental vehicle business complies with the

26  provisions of chapters 624 through 631 with regard to such

27  insurance, clearly discloses to the renter and authorized

28  driver that such insurance may unnecessarily duplicate

29  benefits under such persons' existing insurance, and returns

30  to the policyholders in the form of benefits under such

31  policies at least 75 percent of the aggregate amount of
