14 On page 24, between lines 26 and 27,

16 insert:
17 Section 14. If a motor vehicle rental business chooses
18 to purchase liability insurance coverage for injuries caused
19 by the operation of rental motor vehicles as provided in this
20 act, this act does not in any way limit the duty of an insurer
21 that provides such coverage to act in good faith under
22 existing common and statutory law, and such insurer is subject
23 to full liability under the law for a breach of duty to act in
24 good faith to the same extent as if the responsibility of
25 ownership of the rental motor vehicle had not been limited by
26 this act.
