  1                         House Resolution

  2         A resolution expressing gratitude and affection

  3         to all mothers.

  4

  5         WHEREAS, Sunday, May 11, 1997, has been designated

  6  Mother's Day, and

  7         WHEREAS, the highest ideals and noblest principles of

  8  humanity find their most exemplary expression in the sacrifice

  9  and devotion of mothers, and

10         WHEREAS, it is proper that the members and staff of the

11  Florida House of Representatives recognize the immeasurable

12  debt of gratitude owed to all mothers for their strength,

13  guidance, understanding, and love, NOW, THEREFORE,

14

15  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

16  Florida:

17

18         That the members of the House of Representatives do

19  hereby express to their own mothers and to all mothers, on

20  behalf of the citizens of the State of Florida, personal

21  affection and heartfelt gratitude.

22         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread

23  upon the Journal of the House of Representatives as a tangible

24  token of the love and respect that the members hold for all

25  mothers.
