  1                         House Resolution

  2         A resolution paying tribute to Arthur A. Doino.

  3

  4         WHEREAS, Arthur A. Doino, a native of Washington, D.C.,

  5  moved from Mahopae, New York, to Port St. Lucie, where he had

  6  lived for ten years, and

  7         WHEREAS, before his retirement, Arthur A. Doino,

  8  affectionately known as "Art," was the owner and operator of a

  9  metal refinishing business, and

10         WHEREAS, Art Doino was involved in his community as a

11  member of Elks Lodge 2658, Port St. Lucie, and served his

12  country in the United States Army during World War II, and

13         WHEREAS, Art Doino served his neighborhood of La Buona

14  Vita by founding the Crime Watch program there, zealously

15  organizing fundraisers and getting speakers, and

16         WHEREAS, Art Doino also took the lead in promoting

17  aluminium can recycling and was looked upon by his neighbors

18  as "a very special person," and

19         WHEREAS, Arthur A. Doino is survived by his wife,

20  Sebastiana, a daughter, Marie Lyke, and a son, Paul, NOW,

21  THEREFORE,

23  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

24  Florida:

26         That the House of Representatives pauses in its

27  deliberations to pay tribute to Arthur A. Doino.

28         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution

29  be presented to Sebastiana Doino as a tangible token of the

30  sentiments expressed herein.
