  1                         House Resolution

  2         A resolution recognizing Robert Montgomery of

  3         the Ironworkers Local 397.

  4

  5         WHEREAS, Robert Montgomery, a member of Ironworkers

  6  Local 397, Tampa, Florida, won the National Apprenticeship

  7  Competition held in Vancouver, British Columbia, and

  8         WHEREAS, Robert Montgomery was named Outstanding

  9  Apprentice and Apprentice of the Year in 1996 in Florida,

10  Outstanding Apprentice for 1996 by the Ironworkers District

11  Council of the Southeastern States, the Second International

12  Ironworkers Outstanding Apprentice contest winner, and the

13  Outstanding Apprentice of North America for 1996, and

14         WHEREAS, it is both fitting and proper that the House

15  of Representatives pause in its deliberations to recognize

16  these achievements, which should serve as an example and

17  inspiration for all those who aspire to similar

18  accomplishments, NOW, THEREFORE,

20  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

21  Florida:

23         That the House of Representatives hereby recognizes and

24  commends Robert Montgomery for his achievements as an

25  outstanding apprentice.
