1 House Resolution
2 A resolution recognizing Keely Elise Morris,
3 Miss Wakulla County of 1997.

5 WHEREAS, on Saturday, April 12, 1997,
6 seventeen-year-old Keely Elise Morris was crowned Miss Wakulla
7 County of 1997 at the 23rd annual Miss Wakulla County Pageant,
8 and
9 WHEREAS, Keely Elise Morris, the daughter of Brad and
10 Cherryl Morris, was one of 13 contestants in the senior
11 division of the pageant, and
12 WHEREAS, contestants in the pageant were judged on
13 scholastic and community achievement, a personal interview, a
14 personal value statement, evening gown competition, and a
15 finalist question, and
16 WHEREAS, as winner of the Miss Wakulla County pageant,
17 Keely Elise Morris was awarded a $1,500 scholarship, and
18 WHEREAS, Keely Elise Morris is an honor student who
19 volunteers time for underprivileged children, and
20 WHEREAS, Wakulla County is proud to honor Keely Elise
21 Morris as Miss Wakulla County of 1997, NOW, THEREFORE,

23 Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of
24 Florida:

26 That the Florida House of Representatives hereby
27 recognizes Keely Elise Morris, Miss Wakulla County of 1997.
28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
29 be presented to Keely Elise Morris as a tangible token of the
30 sentiments expressed herein.
