  1                         House Resolution

  2         A resolution commending Florida's Hometown

  3         U.S.A. Pageant finalists.

  4

  5         WHEREAS, Florida's Hometown U.S.A. Pageant is an

  6  important part of the development of outstanding youth for the

  7  state, and

  8         WHEREAS, Florida's Hometown U.S.A. Pageant stresses the

  9  importance of home, church, and school activities for

10  Florida's youth and recognizes students who will be tomorrow's

11  leaders, and

12         WHEREAS, participants in the pageant work to improve

13  their communities through many worthwhile projects, and

14         WHEREAS, Alyssa Sopenasky, from the City of

15  Jacksonville, is Florida's Tiny Miss Hometown U.S.A., and

16         WHEREAS, Ashley Hinkle, from the City of Haines City,

17  is Florida's Little Miss Hometown U.S.A., and

18         WHEREAS, Dreama Walker, from the City of Tampa, is

19  Florida's Junior Miss Hometown U.S.A., and

20         WHEREAS, Annie Hall, from the City of Clearwater, is

21  Florida's Teen Miss Hometown U.S.A., and

22         WHEREAS, Taylor Wilson, from the City of Largo, is

23  Florida's Miss Hometown U.S.A., and

24         WHEREAS, it is appropriate to recognize Florida's

25  Hometown U.S.A. Pageant finalists for their accomplishments

26  and contributions to their communities, NOW, THEREFORE,

28  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

29  Florida:

  1         That the House of Representatives of the State of

  2  Florida hereby commends Florida's Hometown U.S.A. Pageant

  3  finalists Alyssa Sopenasky, Ashley Hinkle, Dreama Walker,

  4  Annie Hall, and Taylor Wilson and hereby expresses its

  5  appreciation for the outstanding service they perform for

  6  their communities and the promise they hold for the future.

  7         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution

  8  be presented to each winner of the pageant as a tangible token

  9  of the sentiments expressed herein.
