  1                    House Resolution No.     

  2         A resolution commending the vocational student

  3         organizations in this state.

  4

  5         WHEREAS, the vocational student organizations in this

  6  state promote many of the skills needed for employment, and

  7         WHEREAS, the vocational student organizations in this

  8  state prepare students to successfully compete at the highest

  9  national and international levels and prepare them to make

10  reasoned and thoughtful lifelong decisions, and

11         WHEREAS, the vocational student organizations in this

12  state train and encourage students to manage information and

13  be effective communicators, problem solvers, critical

14  thinkers, and responsible and cooperative workers, and

15         WHEREAS, the vocational student organizations in this

16  state have provided business and career education to students

17  for many years, NOW, THEREFORE,

19  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

20  Florida:

21

22         That the Florida House of Representatives commends

23  vocational student organizations in this state for their many

24  years of providing career and business education to the

25  students.

26         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution,

27  with the Seal of the House of Representatives affixed, be

28  presented to Travis A. Manning, 1997-1998 President of the

29  Cooperative Education Clubs of Florida, as a tangible token of

30  the sentiments of the Florida Senate.
