  1                         House Resolution

  2         A resolution recognizing the Charlotte Warrior

  3         Junior Bantams.

  4

  5         WHEREAS, in December 1997, the Charlotte Warrior Junior

  6  Bantams' cheer and dance team won the Pop Warner National

  7  Cheer and Dance Championship at the Disney Wide World of

  8  Sports field house in Orlando, scoring a perfect 10 in

  9  showmanship and spirit and no less than a nine in any of the

10  other seven creativity categories, and

11         WHEREAS, their head coach, Judy Lynch, did a fantastic

12  job in leading the 38-member squad to the National

13  Championship, and

14         WHEREAS, the members of the first championship team

15  from Charlotte County are the following: Krystal Barber,

16  Brittany Bevis, Dana Cardinali, Kristina Cochran, Christina

17  Collier, Emily Constable, Kim Cummins, Jaslyn Davenport,

18  Lindsey David, Sarah Dinnan, Kelli Engleberg, Kristen Eshak,

19  Danielle Ferrero, Jaclyn Golia, Carolyn Hannah, Jackie

20  Haymans, Shemika Haynes, Laura Jackson, Ashley Jones, Megan

21  Jones, Nicole Kraft, Shelly Kroush, Casey Kuykendall, Tiffany

22  Lalicata, Brandy Lamb, Kristin Mangas, Brittany McNealy, Tara

23  Nemec, Jennifer Pettit, Kristin Polk, Jacinda Reager, Jennifer

24  Rudd, Christie Runkle, Ashley Russell, Chelsie Sargent,

25  Valerie Tubbs, Chandra Warram, and Dana Zaharuk, NOW,

  1         That the House of Representatives hereby commends the

  2  coaches and the members of the Charlotte Warrior Junior

  3  Bantams in their endeavors in achieving the National

  4  Championship of Pop Warner Cheer and Dance.

  5         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution

  6  be presented to Head Coach Judy Lynch as a tangible token of

  7  the sentiments expressed herein.
