1 House Resolution
2 A resolution commending Glenn Wayne Westmark.

4 WHEREAS, Glenn Wayne Westmark has served with
5 distinction as the Sergeant at Arms of the Florida House of
6 Representatives, which is a statutory officer of the House
7 designated by the Speaker and approved by the Members, and
8 WHEREAS, Sergeant Westmark's service to the Florida
9 House of Representatives and the people of the State of
10 Florida spans 21 1/2 years, and
11 WHEREAS, Sergeant Westmark has carried out the duties
12 of his office with diligence, determination, and a sincere
13 attitude of nonpartisanship as he provided service to the
14 Members and staff of the Florida House of Representatives, and
15 WHEREAS, Sergeant Westmark has announced his
16 retirement, effective June 30, 1998, NOW, THEREFORE,

18 Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of
19 Florida:

21 That the House of Representatives does hereby commend
22 Glenn Wayne Westmark, Sergeant at Arms, for the patience,
23 generosity, thoroughness, loyalty, and fairness with which he
24 has performed his duties for the past 21 1/2 years.
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the House of
26 Representatives extends to Sergeant Westmark its undying
27 gratitude for his years of service to the Florida House of
28 Representatives, and wishes him a retirement full of
29 enjoyment, health, and special times with family and friends.
