14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 1, line 18, delete the words "July 1, 1998."

17  and insert:  on the effective date of CS/CS/SB 502 or other

18  similar legislation enacted in the 1998 Regular Session of the

19  Legislature, relating to funding for Crime Stoppers programs,

20  and shall not take effect if that legislation does not become

21  a law.
