  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; creating the

  3         Crime Stoppers Trust Fund; providing for

  4         administration of the fund; providing for

  5         termination; providing for review; providing an

  6         effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  The Crime Stoppers Trust Fund is created to

11  be administered by the Department of Legal Affairs.

12         Section 2.  Pursuant to the provisions of Section

13  19(f)(2), Article III, of the State Constitution, The Crime

14  Stoppers Trust Fund shall, unless terminated sooner, be

15  terminated on July 1, 2002. Prior to its scheduled

16  termination, the trust fund must be reviewed as provided in

17  section 215.3206 (1) and (2), Florida Statutes.

18         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1998.

21                          SENATE SUMMARY

22    Creates the Crime Stoppers Trust Fund to be administered
      by the Department of Legal Affairs. Provides for
23    termination of the trust on July 1, 2002, unless
      terminated sooner. Provides for review prior to the
24    scheduled termination.
