13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 1, between lines 23 and 24,

16  insert:

17         Section 1.  Subsection (4) is added to section

18  627.4133, Florida Statutes, to read:

19         627.4133  Notice of cancellation, nonrenewal, or

20  renewal premium.--

21         (4)  With respect to any personal lines residential

22  property insurance policy, if the insured property is sold and

23  a replacement property is purchased by the named insured

24  within 6 months after the closing of the sale of the insured

25  property, the insurer providing the property insurance

26  coverage on the insured property sold shall offer coverage for

27  such replacement property if the replacement property is of a

28  type for which the insurer has approved rates and forms and

29  does not represent a substantial change in risk covered by the

30  insurer.
