17 Section 4. Subsection (10) is added to section
18 337.401, Florida Statutes, 1998 Supplement, to read:
19 337.401 Use of right-of-way for utilities subject to
20 regulation; permit; fees.--
21 (10) This section, except subsection (6), does not
22 apply to the provision of pay telephone service on public or
23 municipal roads or rights-of-way.
24 Section 5. A contract in effect on the effective date
25 of this act shall not be impaired.
