  2         An act relating to the City of Jacksonville

  3         Beach, Duval County; amending chapter 27643,

  4         Laws of Florida, 1951, as amended, relating to

  5         the employees' retirement system of the City of

  6         Jacksonville Beach; providing authority for the

  7         municipality to amend the retirement system by

  8         local ordinance; providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12         Section 1.  Chapter 27643, Laws of Florida, 1951, as

13  amended, pertaining exclusively to the employees' retirement

14  system of the City of Jacksonville Beach, shall become an

15  ordinance of the City of Jacksonville Beach on the effective

16  date of this act, subject to modification or repeal by other

17  ordinances.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

19  law.
