  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to condominiums and residential

  3         associations; amending s. 718.105, F.S.;

  4         requiring the filing of a certificate or

  5         receipted bill with the clerk of circuit court

  6         when a declaration of condominium is recorded

  7         showing payment of property taxes; amending s.

  8         468.4315, F.S.; authorizing the Regulatory

  9         Council of Community Association Managers to

10         adopt rules related to continuing education

11         providers; providing an effective date.

13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14

15         Section 1.  Subsection (5) is added to section 718.105,

16  Florida Statutes, to read:

17         718.105 Recording of declaration.--

18         (5) When a declaration of condominium is recorded

19  pursuant to this section, a certificate or receipted bill

20  shall be filed with the clerk of the circuit court in the

21  county where the property is located showing that all taxes

22  due and owing on the property have been paid in full as of the

23  date of recordation.

24         Section 2.  Subsection (2) of section 468.4315, Florida

25  Statutes, is amended to read:

26         468.4315  Regulatory Council of Community Association

27  Managers.--

28         (2)  The council may adopt rules relating to the

29  licensure examination, continuing education requirements,

30  continuing education providers, fees, and professional

31  practice standards to assist the department in carrying out

  1  the duties and authorities conferred upon the department by

  2  this part.

  3         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1999.
