2 An act relating to Devil's Garden Water Control
3 District, created under the provisions of
4 chapter 298, Florida Statutes; deleting lands
5 from the boundaries of the district located in
6 Hendry County; providing for the equal
7 assessment of benefits for all lands in the
8 district; providing an effective date.

10 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12 Section 1. Amending the boundaries of the
13 district.--The territorial boundaries of the district are
14 amended to delete land in Hendry County, described as follows:
15
16 Tract No. L1-100-008, North of County Road 832
17 (Keri Road)

19 A parcel of land located in portions of
20 Sections 19, 20, 21, 28, 33, and 34, Township
21 44 South, Range 30 East and in Sections 3 and 4
22 in Township 45 South, Range 30 East in Hendry

21 Section 2. Benefits assessed.--It is hereby found and
22 determined that all lands within the boundaries of the
23 district receive equal benefits from the water management
24 works, facilities, and improvements as constructed and
25 maintained under existing Plans of Reclamation and Water
26 Management Plans of the district; and, therefore, all said
27 lands shall be taxed equally for the maintenance,
28 rehabilitation, and improvements of the district's works,
29 facilities, and improvements.
30 Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
31 law.
