14         On page 14, line 17, through

15            page 15, line 8, delete those lines

17  and insert:

18         (2)  Effective July 1, 2000, each state attorney shall

19  annually report to the Speaker of the House of

20  Representatives, the President of the Senate, and the

21  Executive Office of the Governor regarding the prosecution and

22  sentencing of offenders who met the criteria in section

23  775.087(2) and (3), Florida Statutes. Cases in which a final

24  disposition has not yet been reached shall be reported in a

25  subsequent annual report.
