11  The Committee on Fiscal Policy recommended the following

12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 1, between lines 29 and 30,

16

17  insert:

18         Section 2.  Subsection (26) of section 403.703, Florida

19  Statutes, is amended and a new subsection (45) is added to

20  that section to read:

21         403.703  Definitions.--As used in this act, unless the

22  context clearly indicates otherwise, the term:

23         (26)  "Storage" means the containment or holding of a

24  hazardous waste, either on a temporary basis or for a period

25  of years, in such a manner as not to constitute disposal of

26  such hazardous waste. References to "storage" and "storage

27  facilities" include management or storage of hazardous waste

28  at hazardous waste transfer facilities.

29         (45)  "Hazardous waste transfer facility" means any

30  transportation-related storage facility, including loading

31  docks, parking areas, storage areas and other similar areas,

 1  that receive manifested shipments of hazardous waste and where

 2  such shipments are stored or held for a period of more than 24

 3  hours, but not greater than 10 days.
