  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act making a supplemental appropriation;

  3         appropriating funds to the Executive Office of

  4         the Governor for distribution by the Office of

  5         Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development;

  6         providing purposes; providing an effective

  7         date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  The sum of $500,000 is appropriated to the

12  Executive Office of the Governor from the General Revenue Fund

13  for fiscal year 1998-1999. The funds must be distributed by

14  the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development to

15  fully implement the six inner-city economic development grant

16  proposals that were selected through an application process

17  that ended on October 30, 1998, pursuant to Specific Line Item

18  Appropriation 1738A and related proviso language of the

19  1998-1999 General Appropriations Act.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

21  law.

25    Appropriates $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
      the Executive Office of the Governor for the Office of
26    Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development to implement
      inner-city economic development grant proposals in the
