14         On page 60, lines 26-28, delete those lines

16  and insert:  a motor vehicle inspection program, the

17  department may issue a request for proposal and The department

18  may extend the current emissions inspection program contracts

19  for a period of time sufficient to implement new contracts

20  resulting from competitive proposals, and shall enter into and

21  implement one or more contracts by June 30, 2000, for a

22  biennial inspection program
