1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
3 Child Support Incentive Trust Fund within the
4 Department of Revenue without modification;
5 carrying forward current balances and
6 continuing current sources and uses thereof;
7 repealing s. 2, ch. 95-111, Laws of Florida;
8 abrogating provisions relating to the
9 termination of the trust fund, to conform;
10 providing an effective date.

12 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
13 the Child Support Incentive Trust Fund within the Department
14 of Revenue, which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated
15 pursuant to constitutional mandate, and
16 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund
17 before its scheduled termination date and has found that it
18 continues to meet an important public purpose, and
19 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
20 policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for
21 its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

23 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

25 Section 1. (1) The Child Support Incentive Trust
26 Fund, FLAIR number 73-2-075, which was created within the
27 Department of Revenue by section 61.1812, Florida Statutes,
28 and which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f),
29 Article III of the State Constitution on July 1, 1999, is
30 re-created.

1 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
2 forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund
3 are continued.
4 Section 2. Section 2 of chapter 95-111, Laws of
5 Florida, is repealed.
6 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1999.
